Expect the Unexpected
Last week I wrote about the importance of proper project planning to provide a strong foundation upon which to build a successful SRC team. As strong as that foundation may be, however, inevitably things will go wrong especially when you least expect it. Often called Murphy’s Law it’s a fact of life especially in the fast-paced world of motorsports. I am sure several of you can relate stories about unexpected events or debilitating snafus that brought your team to its knees. Robert Burns, a Scottish poet, sums it up nicely having said that “the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray.”
